Ozone season is here, and that means it’s a great time to take advantage of programs that help reduce air pollution. And the best part? These program help save Weld County residents money. Whether it’s hopping on a free bus ride, switching to electric lawn tools or upgrading to an e-bike, these incentives are designed to support cleaner air for everyone.

Ride Free All Summer with GET

From June 1 to August 31, Greeley Evans Transit (GET) is offering free rides on all services and routes including Poudre Express, Paratransit and UCHealth Call-N-Ride. Riders who are 18 year old and under, along with UNC and CSU students, always ride free.

This is part of the statewide Zero Fare for Better Air initiative, aimed at reducing vehicle emissions during the high ozone season. Take the opportunity to explore summer events, local shops and restaurants in Greeley, Evans and Windsor — without stopping at the gas station.
