APCD Proposed Changes to Vehicle Emissions Testing Programs

Join the CDPHE Air Pollution Control Division to hear how the state plans to update Colorado’s gasoline and diesel vehicle emissions testing programs. These programs help to reduce air pollution from vehicles. Curbing vehicle pollution is part of the division’s broader work to reduce ground-level ozone and particulate matter along Colorado’s Front Range.
The division will propose changes to enhance these programs, while also protecting convenience for vehicle owners subject to the testing requirements. The division is holding public meetings to discuss proposed changes. The public meeting agenda will include:
  • A plain language presentation.
  • An opportunity to provide public comments.
  • A question and answer session.
Registration is required. Language interpretation services are available upon request.
